Your Center Speaker is The Most Important Part of Your Surround System
Your Center Channel Speaker handles all of the dialogue(unless an actor is off-screen) and a large portion of the sound effects when watching a film. The Center Speaker is THE most important part of your Surround System. The most common complaint from home-theater viewers is the low presence of dialogue.

Most low-priced Center Speakers are of Two-Way design. They have no Mid-Range. Only Woofers(low FQs) and Tweeters(high FQs). Without a Mid-Range, dialogue has to compete with the big sound effects that are also coming out of the Center Channel. The best sound reproduction from a Center Speaker requires a Tweeter and Mid stacked on top of each other with the Bass Speakers along the sides, like this C360. A Three-Way is ESSENTIAL!

I used to have a Two-Way Polk Audio Center Speaker(not a bad speaker) on top of my Sony 41" XBR tube TV. (A real monster. It weighted over 300 lbs.) The speaker at the top of the TV produced a large presence in the room. (I prefer a Center Speaker that is elevated above the screen.) Recently, I purchased a 50" Panasonic Plasma which hangs from a steel rail projected up from the back of a TV Stand, on the floor of my living room. This stand provides me with a large top shelf below the hanging flat-panel monitor. I was forced to place my Polk Audio Center Speaker below the monitor causing the dialogue and sound effects to sound muted. The Infinity Beta C360 solved my problem, as well as giving me great dialogue and effects, even at a low volume. (Which is also important if you have close neighbors.) It's ROCKS! Even at a low elevation!

Other reviewers are correct. This speaker is a monster. It's 12 inches deep, 8 and 1/2 inches high, amd weighs about 40 lbs. I had to raise my plasma a few inches on the hanging rack, so this speaker would fit underneath. It was worth it. The monitor is at a better viewing angle and the Speaker sounds GREAT! It'll sound even better when it's fully broken in.

SIDE NOTE: Bigger is better when it comes to a decent Three-Way Center Speaker. If you have a flat panel TV that is mounted to the wall, and you'd love to own one of these, but don't have anywhere to set a Center Speaker this big: INVEST IN A HANGING TV STAND THAT HAS A LARGE TOP-SHELF. (I had to. My plasma sits in front of my staircase.) Make sure you measure at least 8 and 1/2 inches from the lowest point of the monitor at it's highest point on the hanging bracket, to the top-shelf for proper clearance. And, the top-shelf should be at least 12 inches deep. (Most of them are.)

WOW!!! amazing
there are 2 things you will be amazed at by this product. first is the size of the box it comes in. you have to see how big this speaker is to believe it! it's actually much larger than my old harmon kardon receiver. it's absolutly huge and heavy so i hope you have a larger sturdy space to put it. fortunately i do. the second thing you'll be amazed at the rich, cleary, full range sound that it produces. best i've ever heard. at $199 on amazon, i'm not sure you can beat the sound from this center channel. i have it paired with the ps212 and 2 beta 50's. together they sound amazing. excellent voice clarity and quality. if you have the space(imagine a small motorcycle) then this speaker is a must have.

For those with large entertainment centers...
This is a truly amazing speaker, visually and sonically. It's not quite as big as everyone makes it out to be, but it is larger than most center channel speakers. It does not produce as much bass as I had expected but I haven't spent a whole lot of time with the settings on my reciever either. At this price, you can't go wrong. That is, of course, if you have room for it.
